Two days ago there was a rumor saying thatAMadden NFL 2018 on PS4 Pro will require a special patch to be downloaded from internet after installation of the game to take advantage of PS4 Pro extra capabilities.
According to the previous rumor was not to utilize the PS4 Pro after the installation from the physical disk.AAccording to this rumor you would only be able to play in 1080p 60 FPS on PS4 Pro and PS4 as well. But according to EA, they have given a statement to GameSpot that this is not true and PS4 Pro owner will be able to enjoy a Native 4k resolution at 60 FPS on PS4 Pro.
Hereas what they said in their statement:
a?Madden NFL 18 supports PS4 Pro at launch in both 4K and 1080p, with no update needed. If a gamer chooses to run Madden NFL 18 in 4K, they will see improved resolution, if they choose to run the game in 1080p, they will see improved framerate in certain areas of the presentation. Core gameplay will render at 60fps regardless. We have no announcements to make regarding HDR support at this time.a?
PS4 version of the game still probably running at 1080p 60 FPS, although on PS4 Pro itas Native not checkerboarded 4k. According to EA, thereas going to be additional mode in this game on PS4 Pro which is a 1080p mode, which will allow for a more stable framerate in some certain areas.
That means that running game in 4k resolution, there are going to be portions of game which will drop the FPS. They said during the gameplay youall have 60 FPS but there may be some drops in FPS but, at the end of the day users will have stable 60 FPS.
